The Agrarian Kitchen – Brand Design & Packaging
The Agrarian Kitchen has undergone a major restructure of products, services, and experiences. Building upon their growth over the years to date, they were looking to up the ante once again.
The brief is to look at the overarching brand identity; allowing flexibility to dial it up or down with the different offerings, as well as ways to leverage and grow the business through design strategy thinking, and lastly to address produce packaging.
A critical look at the current visual branding with a view to building upon it and dialing it up. The aim is to provide a more elevated brand experience that is more aligned with the quality of the products and level of service, synonymous with The Agrarian Kitchen. Problem-solving business pain points, and looking at areas for growth. All through the lens of visual design.
The brand is quite, calm, humble, but also considered, with a focus on attention to detail, and always using sustainable materials across all touch points of the brand identity and consumer experience. More to come; watch this space.

The Agrarian Kitchen
The Agrarian Kitchen is a celebration of provenance through growing, teaching and dining, encompassing an award-winning restaurant, outdoor kiosk and classes, all centred around the kitchen garden.
Co-founders Rodney Dunn and Séverine Demanet opened the original cooking school and farm in 2008 and are now located in the Bronte building in New Norfolk’s Willow Court, the town’s old mental asylum.
At the heart of The Agrarian Kitchen is the kitchen garden, located just metres behind the Bronte building. Food-focused in its design, it features a wide array of seasonal fruit and vegetables, as well as a berry patch, greenhouse, shade house, nursery, orchards and citrus grove. The garden informs every aspect of the menu and drives creativity in the restaurant, kiosk and cooking school, serving as a space for learning, insight and inspiration.
