MONA’s Children’s Library – Environmental Graphics
Over a year in design development and production, this was one of the most layered and rewarding projects of my practice. Created in close collaboration with the exceptional production team at MONA, the Children's Library sits within the museum's grand main library, Phrontisterion.
The design draws from MONA's own archives — art, texts, maps, graphs, and diagrams — woven together with a mix of historical and contemporary illustration, including original collages of my own. Applied across walls, shelving, seating, and ceiling, the imagery creates the sensation of being physically inside the pages of a book.
An Alice in Wonderland sensibility runs throughout. Disorienting, playful, and visually overwhelming in the best way. You're never quite sure which way is up.
