Athlete Career Transition (ACT) – Brand Design

The contemporary brand redesign for ACT leverages sports psychology and draws inspiration from sports marketing, positioning the company like a sports brand or team. This creates a visual environment where ex-professional athletes feel at home. The brand shifts from "Athlete Career Transition" to the more impactful "ACT," offering a clear, decisive call-to-action for athletes transitioning from competitive sports to their next professional careers. This new identity encourages them to be proactive and move forward with purpose.

The sports marketing approach presents the company as a united front—a new team, support network, and pioneering entity that athletes can trust and represent. The insignia is worn with pride, just like any past team or country they have represented.

Role: Creative Direction & Design

Founded in 2010 by former Welsh international rugby players Steve and Andy Moore, Athlete Career Transition (ACT) has pioneered the athlete transition sector, revolutionising how high-performance athletes successfully transfer their unique skills to business environments once their sporting careers have come to an end.

Rooted in the firsthand experiences of its founders, ACT embodies the 'for athletes, by athletes' philosophy, ensuring no athlete walks their next path alone.
