Packaging design for Josef Chromy's sparkling range.

The Sparkling Cuvée NV and Rosé up first, another product in the range is launching later this year. The shape of the label is taken from the beautiful ceiling in the Pilgrimage Church of St John of Nepomuk in Joe's home town of Zdar. The Church is one of Europe‘s supreme pieces of Baroque Gothic architecture, and was added to the UNE SCO World Heritage List in 1994.

Joe fled his war-torn Czech village in 1950 as a penniless 19-year-old after eleven years of Nazi and Soviet occupation before escaping and immigrating to Australia. Over the next 40 years, he used his skills as a Master Butcher and Smallgoods Maker to build his business, Blue Ribbon Meat Products, into one of Tasmania’s leading brands.
